My sons math and science project. He is building the Eiffel Tower out of marshmallows and toothpicks. It was going out of level and I shot a laser level across and cut the toothpicks to get it back. I think it will be 3 feet tall when done. o_O

Since my ariens tractor mowed the lawn so beautifully, I broke out the Ryobi string trimmer, and got all of the trimming done.

The lawn here has not looked this nice ever. We're putting weed and feed down too, probably Wednesday as we're to get some rain with several dry days after that.

Insulated the attic in the garage this weekend. those lights I installed up there last week sure came in handy! I have only two more pieces of ceiling to put up and then it's onto the wall installation. Again, I'm using OSB due to the added strength as compared to drywall.

The cost is not quite double drywall, and I hate working with chittrock anyway!

Was cloudy most of yesterday and started raining last night - AGAIN :hair:. Supposed to rain at least 4 of the next 5 days. I'm so sick of the dark skies that we have had most of this month. Okay, Saturday was real nice, and a couple of days last week, but this rainy, dark, gloomy, 40's-50's crap has got to just go away because I hate it. And I hate it when my lawn is smelling mildew-y because it hasn't been dry in a month.

yup going to have to put an alarm on driveway... last night around midnite.. Lady (GSD) says dad get up so I wander out to back porch to let her out... she crying and carrying on.. I hear a car in driveway. .. no lights on.. grab a 12 gauge and flip on outdoor lights... Now I don't want to shoot some teenager for trying to make out with girlfriend.. BUT use some common sense in today's world do NOT go creeping down a 1/4 mile driveway at midnight with no lights on.. if I knew what it was Lady would have stayed in house..

Another gorgeous day in paradise here. Got out and did some gardening and now that lunch is over I am going out again. Apple tree next door is covered in blooms. While working under the lilac bush which is in bloom, I was overwhelmed by the smell. Weeding in the lavender was pretty nice too and it isn't out in bloom yet.

Thank you to Grizzly Adam for the cool Happy Victoria Day banner we Canadians got to see.

Been busy at work all kinds of gears and levers being pulled in 10 different directions.

Christened the pool with a cannonball this past friday but it's been raining and dreary since
Good for the garden though squash is 2.5' and tomatoes are starting to set

Going to build some bench/locker things for the mud room and Google image searching for ideas. Everything I'm seeing is painted white. What's wrong with people? Is common sense really that uncommon?

    Shouldn't it be...I dunno...the color of mud?

I hooked up the battery charger to my boat tonight, vacuumed it out, worked on my dogs with training for the e fence, and took a look at the carb on my garden tractor.
It looks like I'll need to take the carb off to pull the fuel bowl. IMG_20170522_185419459.jpg
It should be pretty simple though. Judging by the rust I removed from the old fuel filter, I'm sure there's chunks in the bowl. Maybe in the jets too.

Was it just a couple of kids? 300 lumen flashlight and a marine airhorn usually makes that a one-n-done. Then tap the window with the barrel...

I've been told the pee stains in the upholstery never really washes out.. :rofl:

I'll "like" it 'cause you don't. I am really tired of it, but it's not out of the norm.
