    Sorry to hear that, hope you got that straightened out last night....

    Funny thing you mentioned about the alarm. I have a finished basement with a grinder pump in it and have been meaning to get the pit alarm for it for the past 4 years but have sort of been procrastinating about buying it. So a couple months ago I get a call from my boss that says he wouldn't be in that morning because HIS pump went in the basement and had sewage all on the floor. Luckily his basement isn't finished but I took that as a wake up call for me and I bought a pump alarm that day. Thankfully, I haven't had any issues though.

    Define "problem".

    Basement is better now. Spent the day cleaning and drying stuff out, and should be back to normal in a few more days. Really, really tired this morning. I think I'm going to acquire a drinking problem today...

    This reminded me about my basement, just a crawlspace but high potential for water. Bought this today in case my sump dies it will alert me and I can set up my 4 back up portable pumps.

    I've got one very similar to that. Whenever we have a lot of rain I use the old baby monitor so I can hear it in the bedroom. It's saved my bacon once so far.

    Another cold spell setting in. We pulled 18 bags of pellets in today. Wife and I did it, was not a pretty picture! Now my PJs have a big rip in them!

    I found a stray can of beer in the garage when looking for some fire starters. I opened up the can and presto, instant slushy coming out the top of the can.

    Gives new meaning to ice beer.

    Cleaned my Tool room downstairs. Added a few shelves, and hung a bunch more stuff up on the peg board. :)

    Oh and finally picked up my Brother in laws Fahrenheit pellet furnace :thumbs:
    (It's under all the plastic and straps) ;)
