My desk chair is a "lab" stool, extended height pnuematic. I leaned over the other day to tie a ribbon on lil ones dress at the same time she jumped for joy, we cracked her head and the bottom of my jaw. Yep, dark blue bruise under my right cheek too.

Hard on you to loose your fur friends. We took in a very sickly cat a few years back. Lived about a year, then just fell ill and passed on. My dog was very upset. Kept barking by the dead cat and tried to get it to move.

I wouldn't call my form of motion "dancing" but I love that song and "White wedding" too. :)

Yeah, starting to post some pics in the DIY section instead of hammering away. :)

Homemade bacon, egg biscuit this morning. Started on the kitchen wall at 6:30 this am and now off to get material and most importantly a Mountain Dew. I don't want alarm anyone but I'm out of Dew at our house!! Stay calm. :)

Got the yard mowed before the rain sets in. Need to go get some drywall but that isn't going to happen.

I need to remount the deck on my ariens tractor before I can mow. The deck's 48" cut, the deck is a couple inches wider than 48", because it won't fit on the 48" trailer due the wood sides. So the decks been on and off already on Thursday, and it's got to get back on after the trailer ride.
It's raining here already though. It's supposed to dry out on Sunday so I should be able to mow then. I have to clean up the ariens a bit too though. Some engine degreaser, a hose, and soap, and rags should help out.

I remember our Ariens growing up. Always liked the look of them. Too much rain here for any mowing.

Sounds like the Rice Lake area really got hit hard with the last storms.

It was far from dry when I mowed but my next chance to mow isn't until Tuesday.

Not only do they look good, they hold up to the test of time. Mines an '84, bought new by my Dad, and I just inherited it last weekend. The chassis is actually a New Holland. 78-88 were when the gt 17 and 19 were made, and looks like the grand Sierra ariens from the 2000's is the same chassis, even rear "cab" appears to be exactly the same as my 84. The Grand Sierra just had a more modern hood on it.

I actually think the old one like mine stands the test of time looks wise better than the newer hood. The extra power of newer one is intriguing though. This Kohler kt17 isn't regarded as a dependable motor, but ours was replaced in 85 with a new motor by Ariens techs at our house and was used year round until 3 yrs ago. So nearly 30 years with really no issues motor wise is reliable, I'd say.
