    Sitting around +4 C (40 F) here, so I have a small poplar fire taking the chill off. Again, kind of weird burning this late in the year even if it's off and on.

    It's 83 today with some strong wind gust (30-40) and tomorrow will be hotter with even strong winds
    Tomorrow we might get a 40 degree drop from our daytime highs.

    5c/41f here. I worked late tonight so didnt do my top down fire until 8 pmish and now its about ready to be reloaded. Lots of fresh snow on the mountains but none at my house thankfully. We have a civic long weekend coming up and the weather is supposed to get to 20c/70f range or a bit better so there will be lots of happy Canadians around here!! May long weekend as we call it launches off the first long weekend when many of us go camping for the first time of the season and its a standing joke that it will almost always be miserable with heavy cold rain or collapse your tent from wet snow. I think this weekend will be different. Fingers crossed! I personally dont do anything but work on long weekends because everything is so darn busy so Id rather stay home and work or process firewood.
