This is certainly not my best job of stacking but still getting it done. This is the wood that TurboDiesel and Eric VW wives split at our GTG last month.

It took me all week and I finally remembered to get a picture yesterday. It really is a terrible job of stacking and I can't really say why I did such a bad job. However, it will still do the job nicely.

Most of the wood is oak; mostly red but some white. Then there is some ash and cherry too. Don't remember if there was anything else but if so, not much as most of it was oak.

Well, it is cloudy this morning but no rain forecast until tomorrow night. I see a few showers though not far from us. Supposed to turn to summer this week.

It's suppose to get warmer here this week too. Today is the last day of the NYS burn ban so maybe I can burn some of the junk wood in the outside fireplace.

It came out a few times today but then the clouds and the rain moved in so we ended up doing some grocery shopping.

When it gets here, we'll keep it for a few days and send it northeast.

A standing stack is a good (enough) stack. Feel better? :D

Dennis, you should have kept the wives around a few days longer!:axe::stacke: Hope you are feeling better, don't rush back to the wood too quickly, it'll still be there.

Gee if this is such a bad job, I'll stop showing my stacks and just stay quiet until I actually get something done right around here!!
