Take two, this was accidentally deleted earlier. Feel free to add you own.

Tip #1 Never buy coffee creamer. Gas stations are also willing to throw in a handful of the singles to sweeten the deal whenever you fill up with petrol.

Tip #2 When you favourite meat for patties goes on sale, make them into patties and freeze for grilling later. Pre-made patties cost significantly more that the meat itself.

Tips #3 white vinegar and baking soda make a good cleaner for the body, face and hair. Works wonders if you have dry or sensitive skin.

I use a half cup to a cup of white vinegar with my detergent in the laundry when I put my nasty, dirty, sweaty work clothes in there...

Takes all the nasty after-odor OUT of the clothes, makes them feel 10x fresher....

Tip #4 There is free wood to be found in the forest.
When burned inside a metal box, it can produce heat and save thousands of dollars in oil bills.
I read about it on the internet somewhere. :D

We use old motor oil in our saws.... No not really that's I lie :(

Seriously though old motor oil works great to lube and even clean up old bolts on cars. I do that all the time trans fluid works even better.

I keep all the little bits of bar soap and put them in an old knee high stocking. It hangs in my laundry room to spot clean clothes before washing them. Took that from my granny, can't take credit for it.

Having the original civil war era random width wood floors in my living room, with dirt under them, they tend to squeak when you walk on them as the seasons change. I use my stove ash, cooled of course, in the seams to silence the noise.

The smell only lasts about 15 mins.

Yes, free, but that is far from "food product" creamer needs refrigeration, those are nice cups of chemical slurries! I'll skimp on a lot, but my coffee is SERIOUS business!

Take white vinegar and pour or spray on weeds/grass on the walkways, driveway edge. Do this in the morning on a good sunny day. By days end, the weeds will be dried out. Might kill the roots if you saturate them. Good part is that this is not poison.

Sounds like a good way to take care of some weeds around the asparagus patch this spring.

I think vinegar is the single worst smelling food product. I've left the dinner table when someone gets out the malt vinegar before. Reminds me of a high school locker room smell. I could never slather myself in it. I would vomit.
