No problem man. We all do from time to time. :)

Long day at work to day, but I did check in on our new dishwasher and it's back ordered until the 22nd. Gives us a little more quality time at the sink together and a little more time to get the last details done with the kitchen remodel (of sorts)

Also I took in our "porch" cat to the vet today. My animal loving bride has been feeding a scrawny stray for a while now. I don't like cats but this one is the nicest I've ever come across.

A while back it stopped meowing, wasn't eating much and was looking pretty rough. So $90 later and our stray is acting a lot better already.

I think it actually figured out he had people that cared for him. Yeah...Im a sucker, what can i say. :)

Cute! But a wood burning good looking gal with an awesome sense of humor like scavenger would be my choice if I were a guy.

My son ended up in the same boat as you will be with that cat and his sweetie.

It is now an official inside cat with visits to the outdoors. Man, that cat sure picked the right house! It is a very nice calico though.

Come to think of it. when I was a youngster (pre-10 yrs old) I caught a feral kitten that had crossed the road with its mama cat and bro and sis. It was like grabbing a pin cushion full of razor blades but I hung onto it.

It turned out to be a great pet cat. Called him "Freddie" and then Freddie had kittens!

So, I tried to determine if my POS MTD simply sheared a key in the axle. I don't think it did. I still have to put it into "neutral" mode to be able to push it. If the key was sheared, it would move without needing to put the hydro TA in neutral mode.

I'm going up to my parents up north on Friday to pick up the ariens garden tractor.

This is pretty much what mine looks like. This one's shinier than mine at the moment, but I'll get it looking shiny.
    IMG_1858.JPG

Mine has the 48" mowing deck, so a wider swath than my 42" MTD, plus a 48" snowblower, and a weight box on back, factory rear wheel weights, and rear wheel chains.

The coolest thing about this tractor is that it has drive shafts with u joints for the center and front PTOs. The rear PTO, we've never used.

That might change.;). There's FEL attachments out there for this model.

I hate belt drives, this thing is so easy to swap from the snowblower to the mower.

My dad put all new tires on it about 2 years ago, he also tuned the motor up.

It's got a sunstrand transmission, I hear those are good.

It might need a new seat or a seat cover, and I'll probably have to at least wax the front and rear cowlings.

I found out that this ariens is really a New Holland tractor that ariens sold, so that is good too.

Not a cat guy either but the one we have likes me for some reason:whistle: it was a going to be put down along with 5 other kittens 12 years ago and the mom was dying. The owners idea of put down was not animal control or the vet so I couldn't help but take one for the wife. SHE is a huge cat lover but I won't allow more than one. :rofl:
