    IMG_3615.JPG IMG_3611.JPG Hej hej all,

After hauling a lot of free trees to my yard ( not finised with that ) i started splitting and this is the result of 2 long days of work! Getting the feeling i am on the way towards my 3 year plan.
Now its time for a beer on the porch.

    Have a nice day all.

Always nice to sit back and observe the fruits of your efforts. Always a good sense of accomplishment!

What do you guess on the amount there? 3 cords?

ok - In the US, a full cord is 4feet wide x 4feet high x 8feet long, when stacked.

In Metric, it looks like it would be about 1.2meters x 1.2meters x 2.4meters.

Duvekot you have done some very fine work. You deserve a beer or two after that. Do you ever share a beer with your furry friends? Most dogs love beer.

So 1 cord is a little less than 3,5 kuub, so i quess the stack is a around 3,5 cord.

    You don't know cords. I don't know kuubs. ~smile~

I try to learn at least one new thing a day. Today, I learned that I haven't got a clue what kuub is. LOL Darned if I can't find anything that mentions it.

It sounds like a kuub is a cubic meter.

So a cubic meter of frozen water would be an "ice kuub" ? :picard:

Apparently after some careful reading, a KUUB stands for uncut wood. Like a solid tree. Whereas the stere is like wood blocks. They differ for the airspace in a stere where a kuub has none. So with that being said its best said as a Stere because this isn't completely solid wood.
