Planned on tiling the bathroom floor today (small floor area, 5 x 7) well, once I pulled the carpet out I realized the linoleum that was underneath was in a lot worse condition than 10 years ago when I put the carpet in. Decided to pull out the linoleum very carefully (probably asbestos in it) but once it was out, the fiberboard underlayment wasn't very good either...so tore that out too. Fortunately the plywood under that, while not perfect, is good enough...but, here we are at 6:40 PM and I am only to the point in the job where I had hoped to be about 24 hrs ago! :headbang:
I had suspected the linoleum was original flooring to the bathroom (house built in 1940) and it became apparent while tearing it out that it was indeed original...if my tile lasts half that long I'll be happy! (and probably dead by then)

That stuff is free just up the road? But big dollars for any household items 5 miles away? Not gonna gripe about it as I will find a better legal way.

As expexted...cci mini mag 36gr hollow points for the win! Gun was a bone stock 10/22.

    Top left: federal auto match
Top rt: cci blazer (admittedly I pulled the worst shot)
Bottom left: mini mag 40gr round nose
Bottom right: mini mag 36gr hollow point

All groups are 5 shots. 25 yds. Not zeroed.

Pix of my 10 22 I also tested.

Pix of how dad gave me the scope mount. Every single screw was loose. Yep. I fixed it of course. The target pic proves that.

That's what my 10/22 likes the best too. I'm surprised the automatch grouped that OK.

Each ring is a half inch. I wouldn't call that ok. I think its bad. My rifle hates it too. Definitely the worst of the 4.
Here's my target. I had the coffee jitters on a couple of These shots. Shot same order as the above target.

Yeah that looks a lot worse. I could never get automatch to group as good as the first one. That's OK...for automatch. The stuff feeds and goes bang every time...but I wouldn't do much more than plink with it.... should call it autoplink, I wouldn't shoot a match with it.

On the road next week so I have to get the lawn mowed. This 4 day mowing schedule is killing me.

Bocefus has me wanting to do some shooting now. I haven't pulled the trigger on anything other than my trimmer in over a month. That ain't right.

IMG_0808.JPG IMG_0809.JPG Too tired to post lastnight.... Got Clutch And Slave cylinder replaced yesterday in about 7 hours. It went pretty smooth with the pilot bearing as the only major surprise. Then just got home and got a call from my buddy, who's grandma tree broke a tree limb over a powerline (to her house) from the last wind storm. So I gather my ropes and my baby Echo and off I go. The broken limb (about the size of a 3 lb coffee can) was bound up in in the other branches, only about 14' or 15' off the ground. Got it out of there and eased the mind of his grandma. After talking with them. It looks like in June I'll probably be removing it with a bucket lifts. Ought to be fun...

Good morning all. Beautiful morning here so we went for our walk - all four of us. Pretty nippy though. Yesterday was a mix of sun, rain and hail. Real heavy hail. Fortunately the tulips survived it. Although it is going to be nice for most of the day, I have to buckle down and work on my course. I am a week behind so I hope to catch up today.

I think campinspecter is going to dry out a cement tunnel for the boiler in the oven today. Should be interesting. I wonder how hot the oven gets when it self-cleans.
