    I'd grease the muffler bearings while you have it all tore down for the oil change.

    I wouldn't trust that dry rotted old fan belt anymore either...hate to burn up a Schneckel valve over an old belt!

    I thought the macs had gear driven cams?
    Might need to check for smooth cam phaser operation though...

    I think they switch to the chain driven system when they introduced the roller valvetrain.

    I've got one of them somewhere my grandpa gave me years ago I'll have to dig it out. Nice buy!!
    Ps don't forget to set the injector pump timing and I think it takes a quart of 15w-40:D

    I think those have a twitch that goes bad sometimes. The one that you flips up for summer air and down for winter air. Sorry, can't remember the name.
