Mostly Ash and a bit of Birch and Cherry, all cut with my trusty Dolmar PS-420. Wood still to be carried up the drive, this all in was 5 Toyota Avensis Estate car loads (not the car in the picture).
I hate carrying wood uphill. Do you have any young boys? lol Then after carrying the wood, you have to get it split. That has to be some pretty country you live in.
Nice haul! And nice pics too! Don't know if you've ever dealt with birch before - it's great firewood but the bark is water-tight and so it likes to go punky pretty quick if left in the round. So if it was me I'd work on getting that split up first.
Cheers, I like the pictures you post of Alaska, stunning, you will be the same as us now and starting to get long days as we are on a similar latitude.
Ayh, lad, tis a lovely pile of wood and an even more beautiful view. Has the the ash borer made it to your side if the Atlantic?
Hi, I do all mine in a mondeo estate, you know you're a proper hoarder when your car gets battered on the quest for wood Great views by the way!
My wife just saw your picture and told me to tell you she thinks she'd like to hord wood there. Any jobs for a school teacher?
