Yeah it's like a guide I guess it goes on top of the bar before the clutch cover goes on

Oh it's the oposite side as say a stihl, but I guess that makes sense cause the Poulan adjuster is in the cover right and stihl in the case.

Aren't the inboard clutch huskies like 372 the same way (as in like the stihls?) I would have to go pull both to confirm. I hAvent cut much wood in the last year or so.

There are actually two pieces like that, and the bar is sandwiched between them.

Seems like mine runs better all the time. Will be going to the Husky 18" setup soon. Mine took some tuning to get it right. Add fuel. Never replaced any lines yet. I do not run ethanol. Definitely follow the starting directions. This saw gets grabbed for all my medium size cutting. And often it gets pushed in bigger stuff. Sharpen the chain and give it some time. It will do the job. Very pleased. Not sure on the fuel economy? Mine is thirsty:). And it goes 1 to 1 tank wise for bar oil. All good.

It looks basically new, just a couple of scuffs. It started on the second pull. I needed to turn the idle speed down, and the idle mixture and high mixture a bit richer, and it runs like a champ! Oils generously, just like my other PP5020AV.

One tank into it, I am pleased.
