Nice little score of partially seasoned maple. Cut at the end of summer that was a super dry one. Helps my trailer a LOT since the logs are extremely light. Packed this to the best limit. Shalk we say splitter-rama?

Eh I can't say it does. The moss may be thick looking but its pretty innocuous. This tree was cut when the summer was ending last year. One of the hottest and driest summers I can remember. For months it was hovering 70 degrees until finally October fall got its grip on us closer to Halloween. The long indian summer just stretched and not much rain fell in Aug or Sept. Likely the moss just dried up mostly after cutting anyways.
woods wood, it's gonna heat your house. You might get lucky and the green carpeting may help the bark to fall off while splitting
Yes that wood actually looks pretty good, its very light from fresh cut but again it was cut when hardly much rain fell.
We get good seafood out here. Throw out a crab pot and we'll have a party on the beach in a few hours. Want some Seaweed with that?
Yeah! We're kinda known for our seafood around here as well. But we manage to keep the seaweed off of our trees.
Well it does pretty well for 2001. Has hauled many heavy loads for me, even the 2 oak loads were extremely heavy and this was only about 2/3 full. Each way. The limbs were 5-6 feet long ranging from 1 inch to 3 to 4 And rounds about 15 inches or so in diameter. Not all cut to size. Rare opportunity though so I took it. The real big ones ones at least 2 feet. Probably weighed as much as the loads I had in the trailer. Not a one man job unless you're Hulk.
