Dennis uses 16" so probably the same.
We could cut some dead ash 26" for the fire pit and Save the wet oak for the wood stove later:D

I lost one that I made out of the whip antenna, had to buy another $3 magnet and make another one, not much to it though, easy to lose.
This one will be much easier to see, don't want to lose $30 tool.
I might also get some of that pink tape bogydave uses:binoculars:

I got to use my Accu Stick Pro the other day.
    Works great, well made accessory.
When I get done I just stuck it on the cool muffler and put the saw away.
I see they are selling them at Bailey's now too

    Sorry for the... :Yar:

Did you see the setup that Chvymn99 had? This reminded me of that. It used air couplings and just screwed to the bar studs. I thought it pretty slick.

That's helpful. I improvised one with a smaller magnet, and it tends to vibrate out of place and run into the chain. If it gets to the teeth, the magnet is hard enough to do damage. I was happy with the basic idea though -- I got a magnet with a countersunk hole in the middle, put an appropriately-sized flathead screw through it and threaded it into a piece of white plastic tubing from the big box store.

Here's a magnet similar to yours, direct from China for $5.
