Ended up getting some icing of the trees today that stayed on pretty much all day, but also all day rain.

You would think with all day rain, the ice of the trees would have melted....nope.

Temps held at freezing and just above all day. Just a smidge of ice coating on the trees....not enough to weigh it down.

Rain has now changed over to snow and the grass is white once again.

Wow thats a nice warm day! Do you enjoy that kind of weather? Were at 3c/37f with heavy rain and sleet and woke up to an inch of slush which is now mostly gone. I will be out of the house for the day so will shake off the damp chill with a fire when I get home tonight.

I don't like the hot weather if I'm cutting but it's nice for drying things up and the lawns are finally greening up here.

I think 73 would be a good temp for working or being out in the boat.

Ended up with 4" of snow so far.

99 laid down the law and prohibited burning in the kicker stove until next season due to her washing walls and ceilings and shampooing 2 levels of the house so far!

    Basement is at 60 now.

Never made it to the mid-30's here today. And kinda windy, not too bad, just enough to make you zip up your jacket.

We are up for a spring storm, either a couple inches of wet snow that melts quickly or 6-12". I'll have to wait and see.

Spring storms are kind of neat. Often they can be quite turbulent with lots of drama. Hope yours ends up being fun as apposed to disruptive wildwest

We had a bit of snow overnight but not much really. I did an overnight burn of larch and then loaded the stove with doug fir this morning. We have some mid mountain fog/cloud and 4c currently. The gutters are running full with the melting snow from the roof.

yesterday was nasty with wet snow, hail, heavy rain, low cloud and very dark. Rather dismal but nothing damaging. BC has been very cool and wet this spring. I dont think we are supposed to crack 10c/50f until at least wednesday and dropping below freezing each night.

Our spring snow storm here is a dud so far. Freezing wind chill, hardly any snow so far (shrug shoulders)

They say we'll hit 33 tonight so we'll have a fire. It looks like this next week will be a damp one so we'll be burning when needed.

Last two nights temps dropped below freezing into the low to mid 20's. Froze water lines both nights at the cottage...no damage (I think) spotted. I had drained down the water enough to leave room for freezing (expansion) and it may have done the trick.
Tonight should only be to 30. Cross your fingers.
