I always knew we should have got him a cape! :)

Oh...I just saw the post odometer says this is my 4000th post. Is there some type of maintenance I should be doing? Change the keyboard oil perhaps?

Yup. We've been looking at Pyrenees and other livestock guarding dogs or other animals like donkeys, llamas, etc. For right now "The manger is full." Literally. We can barely keep up with everything.

I had a pair of brother cats that would team up and take down full size rabbits all the time

I vote llama for protection. Alarm call is loud enough to wake you up, they can hold their own, & easy to care for too. Not as affectionate like a dog but good lil animals. OR, not sure about alpacas but if they are protective too you could add wool into your farm goods for sale!!

Careful with the Big White Dogs Mike as they can be tricky.

Noticed a cat while waiting at the bus stop pick up for lil one yesterday, went to see and found this, we have jackrabbit/snow hair hybrids here. HUGE! Not sure what killed it Assumed it was a baby antelope from the size and the ears, but tail and feet.....?

Puppers helped with the wood today. hes not much with stacking but can work a mean chainsaw, boy watch out. literally watch out, cause hes a dog and has no business wielding a chainsaw.

And then a white 3 toe'd sloth showed up. very cute.. but so lazy... and needy.

You don't see cats team up very often - or not as an intent. I've had cats "playing" with the same mouse but once the game is over, the final captor becomes very protective over the spoils. However, most time one cat was active with the prey and the other was an interested spectator respecting the other cat's hunt. Sure, if the mouse (chipmunk, whatever) came to the second cat, it would become involved, but as soon as the first cat came back into the picture, the spectator would sit back and watch again.

Day 4. Both !and mom are doing great! They are now out of the barn and into a little protected patch of the paddock. Each lamb has put on a full pound of weight!

Cops: Ex-soldier kills her service dog while her boyfriend videotapes

Have any of you seen this "DISGUSTING" news? I would like to open a whole can of "WHOOOOOP A$$" on both of these two! If you google "live leak" and type in soldier shoots service dog, it's on there.

I sent an e-mail to the Sargeant Major of the US Army asking for "FULL" UCMJ prosecution for him! She is already medically retired "but", she could loose her Veterans status! If this disturbs you as it did me, "call or write" the US Army!!! This PI$$ED me off sooooooooo bad!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
