No prob. You can start a new thread in the Classifieds when you're officially ready to sell. These things happen when you start mentioning you're thinking of selling a saw. Especially one that's as sought after as an 064.
I don't blame them. I have (or have had) some other very nice saws in the last year, but this one has a rather unique Yee-Haw! factor.
Technically MM has first dibs. He expressed interest back when I first got it last summer, before I fixed it up, but I get the impression he's moved on to the newfangled self-tuning models...
I'm honored that you remembered me. Unfortunately my toy budget is a bit dry due to reasons that are big, black and sitting in my driveway. I love my Mtronic saws but I normally would not pass on a clean 064. There will be another opportunity for me someday.
It's not that I don't want it. It's a nice saw and a nice price. But I told myself I would slow down/stop for minute. I got my last Log Load done and I need to get it stacked and get another load ASAP. I normally only use a couple saws anyway. Heck, I used the 036 I sold last month for over half of this last load. My 460 was becoming jealous...
064s are special. I have one at home again myself. Got an extra cylinder with it also. Going to try to get them machined and then try porting them different and seeing which I like better.
I looked there is 1/10 of a cc difference from the 064 to the 650 in size. Is there that big of a difference in the 2 saws?
Standing behind the saw looking at it, about all I could do. Way to heavy for me . The saw deserves a young man with a strong back & big wood .
Yeah... I don't even like Stihl's... But I like the slim lines of the 064. And they run like a husky... Soooo...
