Maple Down

    The area I planned on working today had some four legged animals filling their stomachs with leek tops so I went to this downed Maple in another area.

    After I took care of the so so Maple, I decided to get a small Maple up top along with some rounds I had cut up over a week ago.

    Nice work. I love the word "maple"...it's one of those words that just gets me interested, kind of like extravaganza..now a maple cutting extravaganza...oh man!

    For me its Sassafras... Sassafras Shenanigans. :D

    Had oatmeal pancakes this morning with Maple syrup. OH YEAH!!!!

    I love the smell of sassafras...wish I had more of them to replace the useless box elders.

    Fresh cut cedar a close 3rd. A logger told me the French make perfume out of cedar oil. He said they were big buyers in the American Cedar Market.
