Anyo e have any idea where I can pick up these seeds? Otherwise, know any places online that would sell them with little or no shipping costs?

I have bought many seeds through Ebay with free shipping. Of course, it is a crapshoot as to the quality of the seeds but Ebay is an option. I have had good success.

Home Depot always has a bunch of seeds.

I had to laugh that Lowes had garden chit out already and winter stuff mostly on sale or going in storage.
The guy doing the schedule must be in Florida.

I have a few tomato seedlings sitting under grow lights. I would be happy if the stores stocked seeds year round.

Way too early for me to start tomatoes
I've tried it this early and putting them out in the still cool ground set them right back

    I grew tomatillos one year
everyone liked them but no one would go out and pick them but me
I had tomatillos coming up all over like weeds for two years afterwards. :emb:

I should clarify that they are Lizzanos. A semi-determinate and smaller tomato plant. If I keep them indoors a little longer, then it won't matter.

Is this one of the new tomatoes (hybrid ? ) good for containers ?
My S-I-L has had great luck with containers/vegetables on her deck.
But she gets container specific/bred/ select plants.

I have grown Huskies which are a good container cherry tomato plant. This is my first try with Lizzanos (below). Yes, they are both hybrids.

I wish I could find a short season tomatillo variety.

We had great success with supersweet 100 hybrid last year. So much that we are planting them again this year, just less of them! They produced way too much for us.
