Filters are basically the same , it's all the other Chit that has changed , here's a look under the Cruze's hood . I can't see the oil filter , no radiator cap , spark plugs must be under all the chit , bottom line they don't want you to work on your car . Take it to somebody who has the knowledge and all the special tools to get the job done.

So far, the only thing I dont think I will do myself is the timing belt. 158k on original plugs so those are on the docket to be changed-I just hope the threads dont come with them due to age and the rear bank does not look like fun to get to but should be doable.

Not sure brave is the right word here...it might end up being something else.

Stubborn is definitely one, stupid might come next

Only good thing about getting at anything under the hood is that, for the next 4 1/2 yrs, I don't have to.....Cert. Pre-Owned gives me full maint. for 3 + 2 yrs. They'll even come pick the car up, do the service, and return it, if I want to.

G, a little tip. They should be easier to remove if you have the engine warm first......block is probably aluminum, so the holes should expand faster than steel plug threads. Might try tightening the plug a little before loosening too.

Just did a 2012 ford f250 6.2L. 16 spark plugs. 8 on top and 8 on the side of engine. The bottom 8 came out very hard. The ones on the drivers side were really bad. Sprayed a mixture of PB Blaster and WD40 on the plugs and let it sit overnight. Started for a minute in the morning and plugs broke loose much easier.

Encoded from DVD using MakeMkv Beta under *blows doesn't always go bump in the night. The dump went to MPC-HT we may hear we may not. Any who I'm going to transcode all of my MKV files to m4v just to lower the codec count.
