    Nice! When, what part? Was it the ice storm that cause us to freeze with no power during Christmas, no maybe the never ending sub zero temps and rotten snow not good enough for snowmobiling? Nope it was when I fell on the ice on my front porch where I normally never have ice. No, it is me and I need an attitude adjustment! And I know just what will do it. Green grass! Ok rant over, but sadly, winter is not. Time to climb back into the den.

    I'm happy about all the snow so far this year (and the cold, for that matter) as it helped me gauge the strength and efficiency of my living room remodel (built the scissor trusses out of the existing rafters)......so far, I'm impressed!

    And my firewood consumption ( running both the Napoleon 1900p AND the NZ3000) isn't too bad considering how cold it's been (coldest winter in over 20 years here).

    Maple sugaring season is here and I'm trying like mad to get everything ready to tap the trees this weekend.....so I'm "OK" with the "up and down" weather for the next three to four weeks......After that, the temps can get up into the 60s and 70s every day!!!

    But I truly do love winter!!

    My cousins live in Apache Junction, AZ.....The pics of them hiking the mountains in their shorts and tank tops this past couple days is kinda depressing!!

    Good idea on the snow "gift", Dennis!!
