It is like anything you buy. You have watch out for yourself.

Posted from OpenSuSe 42.3 Alpha running KDE in a Virtualbox VM under Windblows 10 that doesn't want to activate. Mdisks devices hate DVD RW media, no matter what Cyberpower says in their blurbage

There are without a doubt shenanigans going on with the prices you see on your own account.

I was looking at a pair of shoes. The only price I saw was $200, normally $250.

At the same time I looked on my work computer, who doesn't know who I am, and I was getting prices for $175.

So I cleared all my history, cookies what have you. And suddenly my search was showing $175. So I added to my cart, logged on and got them for that price.

Good advice there IHP. All the companies track visits now - and adjust pricing 'accordingly' based on browser history, it seems.

Sorry I missed this. They will last several years, just had my left front on the Silverado begin to go intermittently bad. I also will be needing tires soon so I will be replacing them all soon. By the way I hate those sensors. Almost all sensors we buy are OE. Napa does have a lot of sensors, but we have had mixed results.

And Thank you very much for thinking of my boy. There will be foods he won't be able to eat anymore, but you all be happy to here that he is drinking beer again.
He has been doing some side work and his muscles are sore from all the inactivity, but he is getting stronger every day.

Glad to hear he is able to have a beer and yes it is a long way back for the muscles that were goofing off. Just as long as he makes steady progress things will get back to normal.

Went well, lots of good ideas and things to think about. Long days of travel and classes though. I never had to pay for a meal as the event supplied breakfast and lunch each day and dinner on Friday night. Thursday and Saturday other people picked up the tab for dinner. I took breakfast bars and oranges for snacks so it only cost me gas and tolls so can't complain about that

Now someone has given me crud which really pizzes me off since I haven't been sick for at least 15 years (seriously - I have a great immune system). Funny thing is I don't have a fever - just congestion and runny nose, sneezing, clogged ears and now chest is getting involved.

Sounds like a good weeknd

It's going around this winter. I havnt been really sick either for a long time but this year I got it twice-no fever but big time head congestion, a little in the chest and a mild to moderate cough. Only lasted a few days. A co worker had it bad with the cough lasting for 4-6 weeks.

The flu this year is a beatch. Hope yiu are feeling better soon, nit fun wasting this fantastic weather to being sick

Eh, when you work 2 jobs you don't get to enjoy the weather anyway . Although, I think I have gotten down to only 3 nights with my second job, so that will be different.

They are delivering the bike tomorrow (while I'm at work), so I should get to ride to a meeting I have on Saturday (de-brief from the training) and maybe for the commute on Friday

Weather was decent today, so I got up on a ladder from the south deck and cleaned out the gutters of all the crap that blew in from the recent storm.

Then decided to get after the Big Whitfield and clean it all up purdy.

The rope gasket on the door was coming apart in several places and had a spot on the bottom that was nearly missing for about 6 inches.

Ripped the door off and cleaned out the gasket channel and installed a fresh rope.

Oh my what a difference that made in the operation.

Far better air flow up through the fire grate for sure.

Windows been sooting up quickly the past few months... IT WAS TIME.

Local Ace Hardware stocks the rope seal by the foot.

Got the beast running now and it works sweet again.

The rope was a tad shaky when we got the stove used back in 2010 so I guess we got our $$ worth

Finished the last wheel this morning on the Taurus, brakes are done - took a lot longer than anticipated, but all worked out well: 2 rear calipers, 4 rotors, new pads, and one pass. side sway bar link later, we're rolling again. :ups:

No real surprises, the rear caliper e-brake cables were tricky - tried to finesse, but in the end some 'brute force' did the trick. Lots of cleanup needed on the wheels & hubs, 2+ years worth, and lots of soaking w/ PB Blaster. Only needed air tools today, I think trusted mechanic used half a bottle of thread locker Red on the caliper bracket bolts this side last service. I couldn't break them, but the Impact gun took about 10 seconds total to zip them off. 10 minutes to setup air, 10 seconds worth of air time, another 10 minutes to wire wheel / cleanup the bolts.. they were a splendid red color. :jaw:

Stove's been off for 2 days now, 70 F outside right now, windows are open, welcome to Springtime in NH. It feels very warm, I'm glad I got the last wheel done earlier in the morning today.

Now that the Taurus is 'road-rally-ready' again, heading out to Concord -> UNH Durham tomorrow: youngest Daughter in Japan received an email inviting her to join the International Sociology Honor Society: I need to drop off the completed paperwork, has to be done in-person this week.

Classes have started in Japan, she says they are challenging, but rewarding. She's thoroughly enjoying the experience there, will try to post up some pics she sent our way tomorrow, here's one of the Cherry Blossoms starting to bloom there. (Still snow on the front yard here.)
