Ding Ding Ding!! She calls it a pokey, short for pokeypine, "remember when the dog had the pokeys in his face mommy" I cannot help but understand the logic. Funniest part was this all started with a picture of a hedgehog in a book.
My daughters each had a favorite whatzit word. Swippery=slippery Grunchy=kinda like grouchy but worse
On two different occasions my wife was at the grocery store. My wife was in line there was a black woman in line behind them, and my oldest was about 2 1/2 and he shouted out "boy dat wady sure is black wike da night! She was so embarrassed. And when my youngest was about 3, in line again st the store there was a large person in line and he shouted "hey mum dat guy's weeldy weeldy fat, and smews wike poop!" Again she was mortified! We don't talk like that I guess that's just kids being honest I guess.
Yep. It's been a while since we had little ones stompin' around. I forgot how they pernownce stuf. Except I distinctly remember my oldest saying "givvee me" instead of "give it to me" when she wanted something. I think she was a little over a year old at the time. She'll be 37 in a few days. How time flies.
