So new in fact, I can't find them for sale yet. Orange colored mesh filter, 25 micron. Will be getting a couple of these soon as I find a place to take my monies. 522 67 54-07 AIR FILTER ASSY NYLON 25 µm orange 1
I got them on some 550 and 545 I got today. I will try and remember to check Monday. To see availability.
Just checked not available tell June. So that can mean next fall if the push it back any. Lol I will run one on our demo units and give some feedback when I can.
The above picture was from a dealer on OPE forum, I figure they are still hard to lay hands on at this point, but anxiously await availability. Thus far, the flocked filter has been regarded as best due to micron sizes of the yellow and black mesh filters. The new orange filter actually shows smaller micron filtration than the flocked filter and can be cleaned much easier. No-brainer to me to make the switch.
But how does it flow? If it's no significant difference than a flocked or the other mesh filter, then it's what everybody has been praying for for those saws. Flocked filters have a terrible reputation for clogging with fines/oil over time.
I I would probably just use a flat rate usps envelope or box depending on if anything else was ordered.
So I went to my local husqvarna dealer today to get new filter for my 545 and 435. He said there were 3 options for the 545. 2 nylons and a felt. The guy running the counter didn't know what the bbn difference was between the 3. What one should I go with?
