Well square peg no fit in round grill, duh!!! I was all set to try out pizzas on my new akorn but I guess I misjudged the size of my pizza stone and it didn't fit in the grill. To amazon I go for a round stone and will try again next week. Still cooked them in the oven and enjoyed but was such a beautiful night out wish I would of been able to use the grill. So maybe this should be in the what did you cook section, not the grill section, however I started off with intentions of cooking this in the grill so here ya go. Margherita. Hand crushed San marzano tomato, fresh mozz, and fresh grown basil, little grated locatelli Romano. White veggie. Fresh garlic, thyme, oregano, rosemary and olive oil sauce. Fresh mozz, dry mozz, onion, tomato, baby spinach and feta. My favorite. San marzano sauce, dry mozz, diced onion, diced banana peppers and thin sliced pepperoni. Grated Romano. Little shot of the dough structure. Not bad, will be much better when I get my starter figured out. Also, hopefully I can get a bit more heat out of the akorn.
One of the best pizzas I had was in Sturgis SD (of all places!) in the 90's and man was it ever good. I don't order them ever....but the ones you made there look even better that what I had!!
Mmmm, burnt ends. I've never personally made them myself but have eaten plenty. Maybe this summer... Can't wait to see the finished product.
WHY oh WHY did I click on this I need to shovel out my smoker, never used it in the cold air before. I did snowblow part of the garden so maybe we can plant before Sept. One of my picnic table's is that hump behind those pepper cages And we plant our pea's along this fence. I'm "outta here", you guy's are just pizzing me off
