I did spread some manure for the wife with bucket and york rake. Then took the rake and three point hitch equipment off and reattached the backhoe. Then went down the camp road behind the pasture and dug four drainage ditches out a little deeper to get water to drain off the lowest parts of the pasture and across the road. I manage to get my tractor nice and dirty again. But it was fun!

My allergies kicked in hardcore today to bring the pain. Tree pollen. I'll get some revenge on those trees as soon as it dries out a bit.

I got through the day though, my wife stocked up on goodies, like good tissue s with lotion, hot chocolate, daytime theraflu, and the good night knock you out theraflu.

Hopefully I can get through the NCAA final before I fall asleep.

An outside sales rep is the perp. She could've stayed away from the office for the entire time.

If you work for a company that does this.

Save your time to be taken at another point in the future. It's not supposed to happen, right? You work 4 hours extra this week-so at time and a half for overtime pay, that comes out to 6 hours. In stead of getting paid the overtime, you save the 6 hours of pay to be taken at another pint of time.

That doesn't work if you're salaried or the owner.

Many places call it comp time. I save mine up and cash it out at the end of the year...closest thing we can get to getting a bonus

Yup! Never have done it myself, but also know guys who saved it all for vacation time.

Now take your meds and get better already.

Our comp time, or comprehensive days, are a total to use on vacation and sick days. If we had straight up sick days that need to be used for sick only, then I'd have stayed home today. That's probably why we have this issue. No separation= all used for vacation.

One a$$@*#e I worked for, I mean a previous employer gave two sick days a year which could not be rolled over and had to be used for when you were sick only.
Back then, I rarely got sick so would have lost them year after year. I called in one day and said I'm using a sick day and I'll see you tomorrow. Got there next day and he started in on how it was so convenient on how I already knew I only had a one day sickness. I told him that they were his policies, not mine and I didn't want to lose it.
I swear that guy had a vinegar and water for breakfast every day...

I heard an interview today on the radio...
The interviewee (a Gonzaga coach or sumpin) told the interviewer, "it's pronounced Gon-Zay-ga."
Is that how y'all say it, or more like "Zah- ga" or "Zag-a"?????

    Who cares tho, really?
    :hair:

When I'm reading post on my I-phone I try to hit the like bottom but often hit the report bottom by mistake. Right near it. Then have to cancel that and repeat to get the like button.  But for some reason I hit the report button by mistake more often on your post.? I don't know if that should tell us something or not. Anywho, you lost me on that last one.
