Stuff grows like dandelions around here. Love it.. I have some splitter trash I'll have to try in the smoker
Quite plentiful over most of the Midwest, can get huge if given enough time & space.Normally is removed before that unless in an hard to access location. One of my all time favs for heating/cooking fuel. Some refer to it as poor man's Apple, since its mild smoke flavor is so similar & the wood is easier to get in areas with few or no Apple orchards. And is usually free for the hauling, compared to having to buy Apple in small chunks in those little plastic bags at retail prices. Though a couple years back I started seeing 2 & 5 lb bags of golfball sized chunks of dry Mulberry at a local grocery chain. At those prices I got a goldmine in my backyard right now
Finally have some apple myself but gotta let that dry out some a bit. So one or two bags for me this summer then im good for ... shoot. Depending on how much I conserve..5 years.
