    image.jpeg image.jpeg here's the pile from the guy in the pajama bottoms...cut and loaded the accessible logs to fill the bottom of the truck bed but couldn't budge the big boy laying on the top...why do the tree services make it as difficult as possible? So on the way home snagged a fallen ash to top off the load....I'm pretty strong but couldn't spud that big one off....

    I contacted a tree service here by email. I received short impersonal message, "If you're interested in firewood call ..." well thats difficult enough.

    I have to agree. Cut rounds from the small end of that then start heavy noodling at the other end and soon enough there will be nothing left of that big one. It is all about tackling it in stages that you can handle.

    Nice part about that too is that it is soft maple so cuts and splits easy.

    Dealing with a beast like that is like how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

    The service did it that way because it was easier for them. Also it's easier on the lawn.

    Go back with a saw and chunk and noodle it:)

    Bwahaha:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Wood Ramp/s and a come-a-along ( small cash out lay), likely need a short length of chain for between the tie downs in the front corners of the bed to hook one end of come-a-long too. done deal. ( but take the tail gate off first dang things always find the tailgate to bed gap.)
    Where's there a will , there's a way.
