Well, radar is showing the storm moving off and will likely be done here in next hour, the road is melted so me thinks it is time to get outside and start the cleanup.

Had to dig my way into the truck to open the doors. Well, that and so that the avalanche that came off of the hood and roof had somewhere to land.

    Truck snowed in.jpg

So I got into the truck and turned on the windshield wipers and the driver's side wiper blew up. No, there wasn't any snow on it since I cover the windshield with an Ice Shield. It just gave up the ghost. Back wiper has been in pieces for a while. Stopped at AutoZone and got wipers after the dump run - Holy Chit, I spent $68 on 2.5 wipers (the back one doesn't count as a whole one :D). At least the guy at the counter put them on for me. All set and they work good..

With your luck and schedule I am not sure if doing more or less of that is the right call :headbang:

I know what my shoot from the hip response will be, but then you might not make your schedule.............

So, did you leave the paths alone? Its going to be 40-50 degrees and sunny on Monday-it will melt

It was a good plan but here I am getting antsy and ready to go out. The way it looks right now, guess who will be doing the bottom?

Well that is a nice plan, but it is either tonight or tomorrow - cleaning a medical office since the gal that was doing it quit suddenly and the only other person who knows how to do medical cleaning is sicker than a dog. Actually, I think she wishes she was only as sick as a dog :(

I got to the propane tanks and dug out the roof dumpage (shady side of the hous, it would never melt), Went to the gate that leads to the ramp to the back door (emergency exit), and then cleared the ramp of roof dumpage. Have left everything else though (besides digging out the truck). When I dump the ash pans I'll just wade thru the snow to get to that spot. I have shoveled the driveway again after the road plow went buy - had another couple of inches on it.

I think I'm pretty much done playing in the snow unless the roof dumps more or I get a couple more inches on the driveway. The berms are so high the driveway won't see any sun. Even if it does warm up, it is surrounded by berms (and cold retaining walls) on both sides so it wouldn't get warm enough to melt. Won't be able to use the front door for quite a while - but I never use it anyway since I come in thru the garage.

B, your better off leaving the paths. I did mine and dug up more grass that I would have liked. Not that the grass is that good, but spring cleanups tear it up. I eventually stopped and left what I hadnt got to yet

What, in understandable terms, did you get for your new unit?
You have me this king about upgrading. I just want to have speed while I have different things go open. Just getting my new monitor is like night and day.
