I use Akebono pads on all my vehicles. Not the cheapest but last long and virtually zero brake dust. They are my favorite.

Got tired of looking at that artifact line running game down the middle of my monit or so today I bought a 27 in. Curved screen samsung monitor. Nice 1080 HDMI. Good for these old eyes.

I didn't see it mentioned, and you probably already know, use a 'C' clamp and return the caliper piston to 'new pad' position using the old pad as a clamp point

The weirdest weather as I do not recall ever seeing it like this before, it has been Sleeting for the last 13 hours. Not sleet mixed with snow or rain just straight up sleet which has accumulated to about 3 inches of packed ice very weird .
Light snow all day yesterday then about 6 pm switched to sleet and been that way since, they keep saying its going to switch to snow but not so sure. Were calling for 12"-15" of snow so guess should be happy except this crap is heavy and packed.Better than freezing rain though (guaranteed power outage here) or a chit ton of snow and hopefully will melt in the next couple of days.
Ok should have kept my trap shut just switched to snow ......

We got about an inch or so of sleet here, Looks like the roads are OK. Just stuck to the lawn and vehicles. I'll wait a bit before going off to get supplies. Good day to chill by the pellet heat and enjoy a cup of brew!!

Not enough to worry about. Just have to clear the front steps and side deck. Put down some no slip stuff so I stay upright. No like the sudden land on the back end...........

Hopefully its gone soon. We need to concentrate on getting the rig ready and gear stowed. There's only 1 week to go and its water time!! Here fishy fishy.......... :D

I'd like to get the grass prepped soon. Got all the stuff(Weed and feed, Grub X) to prep the lawn in my way!! Usually have it down by now...........

Pretty much same thing here. They said we would get 2-4" of snow. Nope. Almost entirely rain, and there is a trace of ice/sleet on the ground. Not complaining. Good day to sit in front of the stove and relax.

I have used those before and they are really good while not being all that expensive . Those might be what Honda uses for their OEM and my original brakes were problem free while lasting a long time

12" measured at 8:30 and still snowing. Snow blower died after doing the driveway and berm :headbang:. All my path to the propane tanks, emergency paths and further snow removal in the driveway will all be by hand

Saw this sign at a watering hole last weekend, and it made me think of a very good friend here.
