Heck ya, but then I thought of transportation costs of bringing it at least 1500 miles  I am one of few people on here that can buy dry firewood. Vermont requires that if state pays for wood in heating assistance program it be less than 15% MC. So a couple outfits kiln dry firewood. but it's :makeitrain" think 450 a cord but at least you know it's dry!

You would make money in my state! Fire wood cut split is 300 cord.... log length is 125 a cord... but hey 20% burn wood
... I giggle cause the tree services up here you pay to remove it they process it in slow periods.. keep good employees on over winte.r

A cord in our area is 180. log length is 700 for a triaxle or about 7+ cords

Probably 2% here (state wide average)
was trying to find actual statistics but didn't find it

Well around me it's higher, cities may bring it down, but I read some where on here 20% in Vermont burn wood... Tree dumps here only contain brush and leaves.. which is turned into compost.. and sold back to you by the yard.. everything else is sold.. pine is cheap 20 bucks pick up load for outside fire pits... 4 out of 5 neighbors within mile of me burn...

Same here, the urban areas bring down numbers from the rural areas.

I contributed to that .02 % in Florida. I sold a stove to a couple that was touring New England a few years ago selling crafts at fall festival shows. They had room in their trailer on the way back to fit it in. I tend not to ask too many questions.
