Anything a crappy Wind Blows machine can do, you could do on your Mac.

There were times like this my air ratchet would get in there. Being much larger than a regular wrench it would act as a breaker bar-but 3/8 drive it sometimes wouldnt have the oomph needed.

It will get somewhere on Thursday I might have it go elsewhere on Friday maybe the North Windham PO it is much closer than the Standish one 3 mile round trip vs 18 mile round trip, yep Standish covers a bit of real estate. That Gorham PO is going to get a work out.

Can't use the lift - Insurance. :( It's cool though, the shop is heated, between the shop floor jack, and the 3 ton stands here, it'll be up in the air quickly.

Shop has air, I have a full set of air tools & impact sockets (1/2"), and will be bringing -everything-. Just hope I don't blow a strut with the weight of the tools that'll be in the trunk.

Also have a good 1/2" breaker bar, it was my grandfather's, who got me started in auto repair (before I could ride a bike), and bequeathed a lot of his tools to my father / me when he passed, old-school Craftsman US steel. Most of that set is at my folks in FL, but I kept this (sorry Dad), they don't make 'em like this anymore, it's one tough piece of steel.

Will be breaking everything loose by hand, zipping off w/ the air ratchet when loose, and torquing to spec. on reassembly.

I like NAPA, they sell good quality stuff. Last round here I went the ...zon route and used Dura branded rotors, w/ Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic pads, and it worked out really well. Rotors are China-made, but excellent construction and finish, as-good-or-better than some parts-store rotors I've seen. This combination worked well here, no noise, excellent stopping power. Rotor cost is 1/2 what the local stores charge per rotor, even after applying their discount. But, the rotors are definitely not 'heavy-duty' - so I'm not surprised they're done. Trusted mechanic said to just use standard parts last service - the Taurus is tough on brakes / that I would be doing a full rotor/pad service each change anyway, to save money. Trusted mechanic has moved on - I miss him.

Thanks for the tips, links, and pointers everyone, if you want to help w/ the brake job (at 2 am) - all are welcome, I'll buy the pizza and beer.

Have a great evening all.
