But watching the video it appears to be more work than simply rolling the log onto the splitter especially when using a pickeroon. I understand that some like to stand while working but I don't and sitting does not hurt the back. Don't see how rolling would have hard on the back either. But I can see where that could come in handy for some other things too. Looks like a take-off from the winches they put on the rear of a pickup for loading deer but can also be used for loading large pieces of firewood and I can certainly see the value there.
A big screw I bolt could work or those steel peg deals campinspecter uses , but I don't know if you can buy em around here, his splitter set up is awesome
There's about 35 big uns just on the right side. Those are about 20 to 24 inches. Red oak and 18 inches long. I'm gonna try the winch and tongs out once it stops raining for the next 5 days...
