Yup. We took the kids and walked around the mall for a bit after we went to the Veternarian's open house. Then to Olive Garden. Then back to pick up the boy's new recurve bow he bought. He's a hard worker and loves his bows.
Somebody told us that their freind use to work there and everything was microwaved. That they had a line of microwaves back there making food. Hahahaha
That's one whale of a grapple! Yes, we've used logs but mostly slabs from the mill for making cordroy roads.
That's just Basswood Dennis, about all it's good for. I "weed'' it out from competing with the good trees.
Unless your a wood carver i guess? I think i asked this and got an answer from someone up north...if not you? Is there not a hardwood pulpwood market up there? Trash hardwood makes great pulpwood.
I have not checked it out. From what I hear on the local news is nothing but mill closings and I'd rather not infringe on a loggers meal ticket for what little I cut. I did carve a "bust" I think they call it. My wife use's it to take pics of some jewelry she makes. I am not a wood carver but it was interesting to try it, mostly chainsaw & grinder work. I wonder if you could make 2x4-6's & small timbers for the usual minor projects around the place, (or how you could find out)? It's hard to imagine that it's any worse than what they're speed growing on plantations and selling at the regular lumberyard's.
That was the prototype, a little to "anatomically correct" for the boss Where'd you dig them up from?
Sorry I don't remember who made those but do remember I got them from a different forum several years ago. Thought it might have been you.
The 3550 is getting cleaned up and then a greasing. Backhoe taken off and three point hitch arms installed. Next will be washing the whole thing off. I had to work at getting some clay out of the way to get pins in. Then I will grease it for the second time.
This clay was hauled in as fill for the barn project. I'm usually not in the stuff. I have about 4 dump loads of it left now. After things dry up I will move it to cover some stumps and then be done with it. Cover that with some topsoil. On my property I have pretty good soil. It use to be a farm before my parents planted it as a Christmas tree farm. But, if you dig down far enough you get to clay.
