But we did have my honey's dog Nellie with us-she always rides shotgun sitting or sleeping between us and loves being in the truck, no matter how long the ride is

Here she is with me on Mt Major a few years ago

Just a little on the slick side this morning. When I went out on the back porch at 3:30, it was dry. When I went out to start the truck at 4:35 it was icy. Had one interesting moment coming into work at about the 6 mile mark. That place is always bad even if there is no freezing rain coming down as it gets weepage from the hill on one side and it is always in the shade so the road doesn't warm up even if there is sunshine. The people behind me decided that following so close wasn't such a good idea :faint:. I think the second guy back probably scared himself as he dropped W-A-Y back. I finally realized I hadn't put it in 4WD. Ha, doesn't matter that much on icy roads and just goes to show what a good choice in tires I made. The rest of the ride in was still on the cautious side (speed limit :D), but uneventful.

Temp was right around the freezing point as the front steps and buggy had ice. Yet the side deck was fine. Hills were slickery, Once I got to the highway it wasn't bad. But stuck to the speed limit. Area's of fog too.

By the looks of the forecast we could see this again on Wednesday and Friday....... No licky da ice!

Hey OM, you can slow down a bit. I move only 10 bags of pellets a day these days and then only in the morning. None of the hurry up and get it done bullsh**.

Heck I really let it go this year and took from the pallet in the garage as needed, one at a time. Until I was down to maybe 8 bags left an bought those to the basement.

    HA!!

The only time it really was an issue was if I needed to lug in a bag at bedtime and I was really tired.

running into a few anomalies on the Atlas project. I can't locate 2 oil cups, a small 1/2 pipe assembly for the water exit of the air compressor, and now six 1/2 12 pitch X 2.5inch bolts.??:hair::loco: :headbang:the first two are easy to replace, but a 12 pitch 1/2 inch bolt is BSW British Standard Whitworth. forget Fastenall and McMaster. i have to look to England or Aussie land to find them.

i even dumped the scrap iron bucket - nada. but there might be another bucket i sent to the farm scrap pile - gonna look tomorrow!

it irks me because i save everything that comes off a project, right down to the old gaskets, until reassembly and i know i don't need something to compare, or a pattern or something. oh, and two more items, 1' pipe and elbow on the water pump - i think they were badly rusted, but i still would have kept them for length.:emb:
