Northern Warmth pellets are not Okanagans. As a replacement we are selling the Northern Warmth brand. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks appreciate that , I know that you aren't the only dealer who was confused as to what 's in the NW bags .

You didn't cause the confusion. Some insinuations were made that led people to think that the NW were oakies.

Picked up half a ton of NW Purely pine and will post a pick tomorrow, my Brother in Law these are his favorites. My first round I was not impressed, will see what happens this time . If its the same Ill propose to switch them out for the remaining eagle valleys he has :) Did get them for the same price as a ton which was nice just hope they burn fine . The other choices were NW doug fir and Ambience any one have any info on these ? they were sold out on Norther MAX

Purely pine stink imo. I am burning leftover oakie golds from 2 years ago. The ash is like sand, very gritty. Volume of ash is good. Heat is ok/good. The consistency of the ash and increased need to tend to the burnpot have me down on them, especially at $299 a ton when i can get a superior pellet (spruce pointe) for $239 a ton right now.

I would give the NW Douglas Fir a whirl. Ambiance is also good.

Douglas fir was expensive $329 Ambience $232 and purely pine $272 .Dafonce my first round with PP I would agree with you but seems thus far these Purely pines are burning great with very light ash ?
I just finished a ton of Spruce Pointe which I liked but they were loaded with excessive fines but at the price you got them for I would grab more of them they burn wicked clean and great heat.

Experiencing the Same exact situation with the ash, annoying as it is creating an ash dam with course ash stopping the ashes from making it to the ash pan. You are exactly right daffonce and where the heck are you getting those SP at that price I would jump all over it even with the fines can't touch them around here for less than $290 a ton

Spruce Pointe at $239/ton is a great deal.
www.McManusFuels.com sells Spruce Pointe for $239/ton. Ask Henry or Peter (on this forum).

I can not remember the name from when I last talked to him on the phone. But the website
mentions the owner as Henry. I also see a Dan is quoted on the website.
Mr. Zahria can probably state for sure, as he helps out. (Dan = Peter Zahria)

Thanks Bud will have to check which is closer ! The $175 Northeast pellets were sold out when i called this morning as I planned to head there after work , sold 20 tons in little over 2 days just my luck. Ended up due to time restraints grabbing half a ton of Doug Fir Northern Warmth as they had sold all the Ambiance and Northern Max. Wanted to get some in the basement before the snow which makes it much more difficult to load the pellets in the basement . WTH everyone needs to try Doug Fir right ?

Will let you know Will got them for $164 for half a ton, did a quick clean vac out and cleaned the glass as the purely pine made a mess.
cleaned out all the purely left in the hopper and dropped in 2 bags of Doug Fir. One thing I have noticed right off the bat as the crank out some heat which is good I had to lower the feed rate perhaps it will not be such a bad deal if I use less pellets and the stove stays nice and clean

Most of these Df's will spoil da chit outta ya!! Haven't heard much completes cept maybe the price tis all. Heard some rumbles on some of the no so spiffy brands, But they were still cleaner than even a good softy.

If you like them NW DF's? You'll love the Olympus, Bear Mountain. Hear really good tails of them Pack Saddles too.
