Thanks Jack Straw. Appreciated. A little at a time adds up quick. Doesn't it?

So, my blower on my Quadrafire insert has gotten very loud. It got to the point of me shutting it off even.

So, I'm going to attempt to take it apart and lube it up to silence it. I got my white lithium grease, and I watched at least an hour of YouTube videos.

    Wish me luck.

I'm just starting to venture into the fermenting process today with a batch of sauerkraut and carrots. I've always had canned sauerkraut and never really liked it. I had some homemade sauerkraut yesterday and really liked it. Maybe green beans when I get more air locks. I was also eyeing some water seal crocks on the net for a larger batch or pickles. I have a nice spot where the canning jars sit, for these to think.

Did a little exercising this morning and then cleaned up. Then took the wife and kids to the new Equine Veternarian barn about 10 miles from our house. She is Dr. who has cared for the wife's horses since she got them and has been working on her dream of her new horse Veternarian barn for several years. Today was the Grand opening. Nice facility and all set up for lots of horse needs. Including a whole area for surgery. (Which we hopefully will never need to use!) Then told the wife we might as well make a day of it together with kids. So it's time to eat whatever I want at Olive Garden!

Putting the plow and salt spreaders and snow blowers up for the year. Time to do some hydro service on the mowers.

Translated to: I'm gonna go handle everything in my garage 3 times to move in the plow and the mowers out.

Demo work on the mud room. Whoever did that room the first time was the worst carpenter I've ever seen. Got it down to studs and the slab now. Time to test out some brick and frame a couple walls.

You haven't met the last owner of my home, Depression Era carpenter, rooms went up with studs, floor joists, trusses, subfloor & paneling was large long enough to span and no headers on any window or door. Yep.
