Was at work today, and they had this out in the lobby....guess it was a raffle for the dealers (not for us workers). Looked it up online and retails for $999.00. Pretty nice, and well built. I was going to post in that pellet grill thread from a while back, but couldn't find it. If the mods want to post it there too, fine by me:

That looks so cool and I like the "Extreme Smoke" setting.

Pellet grills are not cheap. I don't know why I keep looking at them. I bought a small grill off of CL in spring of 2014 and I have never had it out of the shed. Somehow just can't get into grilling for one person and I'm just as happy to use the George Foreman grill if I decide I need a steak or burger.

    BLASPHEMY !!!

I picked up a George Forman a few months ago with a Wally World gift card. I made one burger and that's the end of that for meats.
I kept it for panini samiches though...oh and making a reuben is soooo easy with this but its relegated to that type of stuff.

Stinks the employee's aren't allowed. If I was closer, I'd fill a ticket out for ya!!

Sure looks like a nice grille too!! I surely use that extreme smoke mode.

I'm OK with the George in the winter. But once we can get outside. The weber gets honors most nights. Nothing like a burger or a steak on the charcoal grille. Hearing the pellet grilles do a dandy job and often better if you use them fancy flavored chips.

I spend too much on other toys. So a pellet grille will have to wait until I retire or hit the jackpot!!

I think my issue is that since the steak/burger will only be on the grill for about 2 minutes, I really can't justify wasting 20-30 minutes getting the dang grill going. Plus, I rarely eat dinner anyway - or at least not at dinner time. I eat a lot of small meals during the day and usually don't eat after 3 (hey look, I'm eating a salad as I'm writing this and I had breakfast a while ago).

my Weber has a summer and a winter place. summer is on the outer part of the deck, but winter its in front of the french doors. there is a 2 foot overhang to the floor above, providing some shelter. I grill outside all winter, don't own a PITA cover for it either! sometimes when its real cold i bit$h about it a little so my wife will feel bad for me..... she tells me to :zip: it, or else I'll be doing laundry! :rofl: :rofl:  I :zip: it! :D

It has the side burner that's where I cook bacon , easier for me to clean my grill grease splatter than the stove in the kitchen , and no one is b ithcing about it :whistle:

Bummer, My younger brother called from the hospital. Said he wasn't feeling good so he went to his doctor who told him he had the flu. He got feeling worse so he went to the ER. They checked him over and sent him home. He said he the lost the use of his right side, and his speech was slurred. So, his son in law stuffed him into a car and went back to the hospital. Now they say, oh, you have hade a stroke! I visited him this morning. He can't lift his arm or leg. His face droops on one side, his speech is slurred, but he is coherent.
It was just three weeks ago, my older brother fell and broke his hip. Feeling like I need to go hide in a bunker.

I was on a Sturgeon (637) class boat. They've changed a lot over the years. Hell, from what I hear, they don't even use periscopes anymore.
