Seasoning Time for Fresh cut Hickory???

    Due to the severe wind storm a week or so, I landed about 4 face cords of fresh cut Hickory...What do you guys think realistically is the seasoning time for it once cut/split & stacked????:)

    If you're ahead, give it 3 years. You will see a positive result.

    I burned 2-year Hickory last night, burned great, put out serious heat.
    Limbs will not dry good if you don't split them, I split everything 3" and up

    Yes, 2 year css'd hickory burns wonderfully. Branches need splitting otherwise they won't dry well, even in 2 years.
