    Hello
The Magnum Baby Countryside BC-AC pellet stove adapter was sealed with red silicone very well! The exhaust blower died and the housing does not have a motor quick change mounting plate so the venting must be pulled off the stove!
There was no way the venting would come off after 2 hours of trying and pulling, so we pulled out the sazall!

New stove adapters and 3" to 4" increases are not cheap! Sealing the stove adapter connection with High Temperature foil tape and/or using a radiator clamp makes it easier for future service!!!

    See pics
New upgraded exhaust blower is 105 CFM instead of the old 85 CFM to burn wood pellets much better!

Another Baby saved with the saw! :)

Pic 1 - cutting the 3" to 4" Duravent increases pellet pipe with a sawzall
Pic 2 - peeling off the stove adapter with pliers and cutters
Pic 3 - new stove adapter and 3" to 4" increased with radiator clamp to hold it.

yea, its kinda a big issue really. Often these things are so well attached, and the pipe is so old, that the pipe ends up getting damaged (often beyond the point of repair) when removing it. So, that simple repair of a fan ends up being a expen$ive repair of a new fan AND new pipe! Old Duravent....ugh. Its why we no longer use old pipe in installs.

The stove adapter and 3" to 4" increaser pellet vent is the new pro pipe so it is better and had to be Duravent to connect to the existing Duravent 4" pipe.
So LW is right, it makes it more expensive this time but the new exhaust blower housing has the quick change mounting hub so it can be cleaned every year to last longer and make installing a new one in the future a tad easier and cheaper!
