    Sounds like it's time to pay them a visit in person Dave? I was almost ready to drive to Texas after an issue with Motorola a couple years back. It's easy to be rude and misleading/dodgy on the phone...try it with me in your face!

    I also once waged a war against a company on Facebook. Just don't violate guidelines so they can't ban you from their page. Only time I've ever had a fakebook account. Persistence is the key...it's a war of attrition...dig in, get comfy, don't relent.

    My wife got a call last night, about 7:00pm EST from who else????...... Wait for it o_O..... Yes, Wells Fargo! They said that they wer going to FAX us the needed information for the payoff and to take the house back, I say their full of S#!T. The've promised this in the past, twice with no results.:picard: We are now on the 3rd month of this quest and no farther then when we started this crap in December. I'll be checking that FAX machine at my office, they said it'll be there this morning.

    Stay Tuned... :rolleyes:

    Dave, I am very sorry you have to go thru this situation. As a real estate appraiser for 35 years I have performed many
    Reverse Mortgage appraisals for all of the banks. I can say that in every case I would go to inspect the house and there would always be the elderly Mom, Dad, or Grandparents barely getting by, mostly disabled and then the kids living in the basement coming up to want to know when they will start getting the money. It was always the kids trying to scam the elderly. I have never seen a good reverse mortgage situation. I don't do them anymore. I concur, Wells Fargo is the worst and most devious lender in the country. All of their executives should be in jail. I now recommend only Credit Unions.

    Three more calls since 0900, Bla, bla, bla.... Oh were here to help you,..... oh, it was faxed,..... oh, you can't speak to someone in the pay off dept, they don't take calls,..... Don't be rude Sir, it won't get you any where,....... 28 mins on hold,...... oh, the manager says the fax went through!,. I asked for the confirmation number for the fax and they wouldn't give it to me!!!!.... I'm not at liberty to give that information,.... We can't mail it to you without authorization,..... When did you send in your paper work?,.... What is your current address?,...... "after I explained to them I have recieved 4 letters from them already"!!!

    That's what I've heard since 0900 AM this morning and two calls! :headbang::headbang::headbang: All lines are now on voicemail.
