Coat of poly on the floor

    Just an update, put some poly on the oak floor. Pics! If you guys get annoyed with the updates, just let me know and i wont make them as frequently lol. Just like to share my addiction.

    We used oil base. Seemed like the water base didnt make it look quite as nice. We tested some boards and they just didnt come out as good, but they did dry quicker.

    When you start to see it all come together, after cutting the trees down almost two years ago, its pretty neat. Thx for the comments.

    Working on a cabin. Its 400 sq ft on the main level with a loft in the top. Started from the ground up, putting the finishing touches on now, the fun part!

    Its actually red oak. From two different trees. The boards closest to the walls had completely different grain to them. Way more knotty and alittle more reddish.
