Sooooooo as some of you may know I recently post d a thread about a Stihl 026 thread. Thanks to all who gave their opinions:D. This past Saturday my wife and I go to the local power equipment shop to drop off my 044 for servicing, now I knew that there was a 026 for sale there so I'm looking and holding the saw I notice an ms170 right beside it. So I pick that up as well. Nice little saw made the comment on how nice and small it would be for my pops to use So I go back to the 026 in looking , holding feels good. Owner says fire it up. I choose to pass because I don't wanna get my hopes up too much. Says they both came from same owner who took care of them and only used on occasion Meanwhile the wifes looking around not paying attention to what I'm doing So I thought. I come home from work, continue my painting duties she has me doing. She calls me downstairs to look for something she says she can't find. Now I know where it is so I explain to her where it is. Nope can't find it grrrrrrrr I put down the roller and go downstairs to show her where it is. To my surprise what she was looking for is right next to not 1 but 2 Stihl chainsaws. A 026 and an ms170. I stopped dead in my tracks. Now I've been with this fine woman since I was 17 (I'm 43now)and I constantly ask how do I deserve such a woman of this caliber Yes I'll gladly finish painting the interior for her image.jpg

I wonder too. I know the fine woman I am married to would be all in but would have no interest in being there for it.

    Congratulations!

Well that is what a marriage is about. Working together and making your spouse your good friend.

    Congrats on the saws.

    Nice! She's a keeper for sure. :)

Mine has a knack for bringing home liquid gifts that I wasn't expecting, or wouldn't want to spend the money on myself. Been together since we were teenagers also. Wouldn't trade her for Kate Upton dragging a thousand cord of white oak behind her.

That's great and a nice addition to make a heck of a three saw combination. Are you keeping the 170 or does that go to pops?

My wife buys me saws and guns quite often....and sometimes she even knows about them

Nice!! My wife actually is responsible for my last saw purchase. She was at the local outdoor power equipment store buying a push mower for her business. While she was there she's texting me pics of a demo ms362 that was on SALE. I called her and told her you don't leave without that saw. It was waiting for me in the garage when I got home from work that day.

Lol@guns . Pops only cuts when I'm there nowadays. So it'll probably stay her most likely.

My wife is also responsibil for getting our last saw and it is a small one too, a Stihl 180 and I love it. Fought getting it for a long time but now happy to have it. Also happy to have wife and as others have posted, I've had mine around for a while. In fact it will be 55 years in just a couple months. I'll keep her too.
