But if you parked a trailer under it ......To keep it up off the ground when it falls........2 bird 1 stone thing.
In all seriousness if you need a hand along with any equipment to keep you safe let me know. Fondy is not that far, plus I enjoy wind turbines. Unless this is some creepy internet trap..............I ain't no prize, ta let ya know.
That's funny right there now! I appreciate the offer but this place is actually up by Waupaca. Your other reply about letting it fall on beer cans made me smile because while I was out there today, I found a couple of old, broken beer bottles under a rotted log. They were old HEAVY glass bottles that had the name Walters Bros. Brewing Co. Menasha Wi embossed on it. I had not heard of it before so I had to look it up online. Looks like the bottles date to the late 1800s. That happens to be the same timeframe that I suspect this land was last logged. I cut up a fallen oak that I counted the rings on and the outside of the log had about 3/8" of rot and I was still able to count 111 yrs of rings. I can imagine that a couple of guys taking a break from cutting trees sat down to have a beer and the bottles have been there ever since. Too bad they were broken. I think I will try to find them again and see if I can put the pieces together for at least on of them. I'll put it up on a shelf at my cabin there.
