    Larry I want to double check with you, I was told not to take extra C or ANYTHING that could stimulate my immune system (autoimmune),. Rheumy even had me switch from my holisitc multivitamins. Is that what you learned from med training?

    I would tell you that in those who immune systems are compromised, you need to stick to the advice of your specialist. There are so many exceptions to the norms when dealing with immune system issues. Most people don't have issue, for them the there are normal courses of action, but with others, caution is in order. I have a nephew with MS. He has to be very careful. I wish I could give a better answer, but those issues are best addressed by you specialist. Some times, it is a case by case matter often based on a knowledge of your history.

    Was at bake sale / raffle all day yesterday that was held by the local HOG chapter / LOH that I belong to. First event I've ever been the point person for such an event and was nervous about how it would go. It finally all came together and we raised $600 to be split between two charities; one that rescues animals from bad situations and another that supplies emergency funding for military families. :thumbs:
