    Now that's funny! :rofl: :lol: One of my FB contacts & fellow member of a vintage chainsaw collector's group collects (among other brands) Root chainsaws.I'dnever heard of them until a year or so back.He said they were made not far from where he grew up - somewhere in western Missouri or Kansas I believe.:confused:

    This is the only one that I have seen. I wish they would be more common as casting other tops with "trunk", "limb" ...... Would make a set guaranteed to start conversations at engine shows .........proper tool for the job thing.
