What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Good morning, 20 and breezy with "snow showers".
Coffee is on and I'll be shoveling coals out of the OWB to quick start the stove in the shop/garage. My neighbor says that's cheating, I say it makes for quick heat.
Ground is finally solid enough to get into the woodlot, think I'll burn some 2 cycle today.

Caffeine! I mean, good morning. Went out to the barn and plugged the tractor in. Kinda stayed in bed late because wife has two hour delay and kids school is closed. Oooops. Now wife's school is closed. Yeah!

Not sure on snow totals. I didn't do any measuring, but if I had to guess I would say we got somewhere near 15". I'll have to look for one of those snow total sites that thewoodlands sent me once and see if my guess is close to what they say. Almost time to dress up warm and give the 3550 a small work out.

 

Up early and it is just above freezing and dry so we are headed out for a walk. I really have to get started on walking in the morning.

They had us getting 22 inches and you 11, I think we received more but it's close enough.

I just came in from plowing since around 9 this morning and I still have a few areas left. The second driveway I plow had 36 inches in it from the wind, ya gotta love low gear and four wheel drive. The plow makes a huge difference compared to the bucket when you get this much snow.

 

The 3550 had some fun today. We got more that 11 at our house. When I shoveled the front walk yesterday there was at least 7 there. Today there was more, so I just went down it with the tractor. LOL

 

Stew? Soup? Chili? Some sort of casserole?

The spoiled ones must be healthy. They are thoroughly enjoying the snow. They were running around the pasture chasing each other, wrestling, biting, tussling with each other at 11:30 PM last night in the snow and blowing wind. Having a ball.

Here they are this afternoon at it again.

 

Have they already decided who is dominant?

Or is it a "seasonal" thing? (The last pic shows some dangling.)

 

Yes. Well most of the time it's the larger, darker Bay. Unless the Grulla has had enough and sometimes he seems to take charge.

That "dangling" has no rhyme or reason to it. Both geldings who enjoy "airing" themselves out. Imagine being able to do that, and someone always bringing you food and drink, going to the bathroom wherever and whenever, and running around having fun whenever you want. More reasons I say they are spoiled! Spoiled I tells ya!
