Nothing wrong with flip phones. Turns out they get less damage at work!

It's not that I "want my 3 year old daughter to carry a mobile". It simply keeps her busy in the vehicle while I'm loading the trailer with wood...

Isn't it funny? People without kids giving advice about raising kids?

Gotta keep that 3 year old from sexting, no? :D

Isn't it funny how some like to be an a..h... Actually, you know nothing about me but think you do. I helped raised the twins, from changing their nappies to cooking their meals, etc. Go ahead and give your children smartphones so they can be like all the other kids and they can end up doing nothing but texting. Local girl is being bullied at school because she sent photos of her boobs to some guy. If her parents had been smart, she wouldn't have a photo of her boobs all over the school; oh, and the parents asked the church members to pray for her daughter being bullied. And of course you knew dam well I was not talking about a three year old but the older children. I can understand the idea of being able to telephone your kids but they don't need a bloody smartphone with a camera for that.

I wasn't talking about you specifically, the remark was a general remark about one should rethink this whole smartphone thing with children being able to get on all these social media sites while you can not keep an eye on them. Remember there is pressure from the kid's peers. A family member was told not to go on snapchat; she sneaked and did it anyway. If the parents had not given their child a smartphone but a regular phone, then they could have called when needed without the worry their daughter is going to be on sites she should not be on. That is the real problem with smartphones, they are basically mini computers. They carry these mini computers when you are not around and they may go on sites you don't want them on. Just something to think about.

I was also the one that toilet trained the twins; I think you put your foot in your mouth this time. I know a lot about bring up children because I have done it.

Too many kids today spending too much time looking at a screen of some sort and they never learn how to have adult interactions face to face. Sad.

:eek::eek: No wonder SMARTphones help folks make DUMB decisions:hair::hair::loco:  If I had a nickle for every time I saw a 4th grader have an iphone out, Id probably have enough money to keep my family out of that sorta thing. Being that Id rather do everything on my own with two hands and feet.
