Pics soon. I left a deposit and will pick up mid week weather permitting. Stove is only 20mins from my house and by the time I got home the seller had already removed the ad from Craigslist.

It's a Hormon corkman...If the snow is too deep it will drive itself over to your house and burn gravel to keep you warm if you have no pellets! But apparently if you want to heat your entire house you will have to find another great deal on a Hermon!

Nice score Corkman. You are amassing quite the collection of toys. Have fun with it.

Too bad Lordz didn't find a sweet deal like this. He'd still be happy and sane and have ~$3K extra left in the bank to spend on other stuff too...

He listed it on Craigslist for $1200 which I was happy to pay but I figured I would at least mention CASH and he said he couldn't let it go for less than $1000. I like to think I'm the winner on any Craigslist buy but seller made this one easy. Remodeling and just wanted it gone. It came with Ventis piping. Anyone heard of it

Congrats corkman, that's a sweet looking stove you picked up there. Hope the move & install goes well!

Me too TT, there's a cautionary tale w/ LordZ's experience though: buying the last few ( or 1 ) of a discontinued stove on close-out is probably not such a great idea, when sight unseen / untested.. Too many issues. :(

I picked the stove up today. Here's a few pics for you all. Stove was super clean but I still hit it with vac and compressed air while I had it outside. Only issue was the combustion blower. It's got a ticking sound to it. I removed the fan blade(easiest removal yet)and pulled the blower off and hooked it to my test cord and it's quiet noticeable. Anything I can do to it or should I just rtplzce. I fibhave another on hand that's 2 years old. Only difference I see is the blower in the stove is 1.75 amps and my spare is only 1.5amps
