Well I got out a bit early and snow blowed the driveway. Wifey was giving me a hard time about going to work. 8-9" on the ground here and I have a crappy cold. Kinda wiped out after snow blowing so I called the boss and told him I'm bowing out today. He is pizzed, but the way its coming down and the way I feel I guess its his turn to be pizzed. I now believe the 24" may be coming.
Son got his feeding tube out yesterday, which was a little surprising to me. He called yesterday to reschedule his appointment for today and they said they had some cancellations come in now. He went down and out it came. It was causing him some discomfort, so they yanked it. He can now eat some pureed food, tunafish, and some other soft foods. Says it feels weird, but OK. He will need to get his esophagus stretched and get the muscles back in shape.

10 am and the wind is howling. About 12" on the ground, as best as I can guess. Took the dog out....not fun.:shiver: So far, no power issues <fingers crossed>.

Its really coming down here in Pleasant Valley, NY . Way over a foot. Scooter should be beside himself with happiness. The mini Dachshund` in my avatar was out doing some tunneling. Didn't last very long, now she is under the blankets sleeping and keeping warm.

Snow plow made its first pass on my road. Time to get out and do the first snow blowing so that berm doesn't set up into concrete. Will probably just do the driveway and road frontage for first pass - no need to do all the paths yet.

While in the middle of typing that first part, my night job called and they are leaving the office so I'll probably head over after the first snow blowing is done so I'll be back while it's still light out.

Next door neighbor is out snowblowing his driveway....I don't see the point, as it's still really coming down here, and has to be filling in what he did 1/2 hr. ago. :picard:
